VISTA Strategic Planning November 2013

VISTA Board and Advisors gathered in Victoria on 23 November for a 2014 startegic planning session building on successes in 2013. The team high-lighted several areas that members want us to focus on in the coming year. These include (in no particular order):

1. Building our Youth trail building program;
2. Funding more feasilibility studies;
3. Strengthening partnerships with land owners, regional districts and municipalities;
4. Engaging First Nations;
5. Strengthen our communications and Board tools infrastructure;
6. Developing and exercising a fund-raising plan; and
7. Building more Trail!

Several ‘task groups’ (commitees) were struck and various Board/Advisors volunteered to be co-leads on each.
