Trail closure in Pearl Lake area

Hikers must avoid travelling through the Pearl Lake area between August 30 and September 23, 2022 because of active helicopter logging, and heli-drop and log loading activities on the road sections of the Trail route.

As a consequence the Mt Adrian and Rogers Ridge sections of the VI Trail as approached from Pearl Lake will  not be accessible for most of September.  After traversing the Jutland Ridge section through and north of Strathcona Provincial Park, detour via Oyster River Main to Inland Island Hwy, thence through Campbell River via the Gold River Hwy #28 to the Strathcona Dam Road.
