Map of the month – July

For the International Trails Day event co-hosted by VISTA on June 1st in Port Alberni, a map was produced showing the proposed route of the Vancouver Island Spine Trail.

This map depicts both existing and proposed portions of the trail, including a 231 km route identified in the North Island Feasibility Study delivered this past March.

Trail-building efforts in 2013 will once again focus on the Tuck Lake section between Cowichan Lake and Port Alberni, which appears in yellow on this map.
